Keynote Speaker: Father Chris Ballard - Sharing the Gospel in the 21st Century

Fr. Chris Ballard was born in Syracuse in 1983. His family did not practice the faith regularly, but through his grandmother and other important people in his life, the seeds of the Gospel were planted. He was received fully into the Church through RCIA when he was 16 years old. He entered a college seminary program in New York City after graduating high school. He graduated from Fordham University in 2005 and then went on for theological studies at St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2010 and was assigned to St. James Church in Johnson City. After two years at St. James he was assigned to Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. Fr. Chris was named administrator of St. James Church in Syracuse on July 1, 2015 where he is today.
